You may already know this, but....

Jesse F. WEATHERFORD (01/17/1915 - 05/11/1967) and Clara C. WEATHERFORD (09/13/1908 - 11/03/1991) are buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery - Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin.

He served in the U.S. Army.

His Social Security application probably gives a lot of info about his early life. Cost you $27 or so. Details available online.

The 1940 Federal Census for Indiana - Marion County - Lawrence shows a single, 24-year-old Jesse F. WEATHERFORD as a Soldier in the U.S. Army. In 1935 he had lived in Murray, Kentucky.

The 1930 census for Kentucky - Calloway - Liberty shows a Freeman WEATHERFORD, 15.

the 1920 census for Kentucky - Estill - Forks shows a Jesse WEATHERFORD, 6.

These two boys were not identical - they had different parents.

Maybe some of this will help. Good luck!
