Lancelot Thomas Armstrong, also known as Lanty Armstrong, is a 6th Great Grandfather on my Sadler Kelley Pickering line.

Lanty Armstrong listed in the taxables of Capt. George Wilson's Company, 1791 & 1792, of Greene Co TN. He was the first magistrate in the Rheatown section of Greene Co, TN. Served on the first Grand jury in Greeneville TN.

As taken from North Carolina Revolutionary Army Accounts, unpublished, in the State Archives at Raleigh, N.C. In the book Tennesseans in the Revolution, Residing in Washington and Sullivan Counties, An account of specie certificates paid into the comptrillers offfice for lands in North Carolina taken from accounts of Anthony Bledsoe, Edmund Williams and Landon Carter, lists Lancelot Armstrong Vol I, page 1, folio 4 and Lanty Armstrong Vol I, page 13, folio 2 & Vol I, page 13, folio 4. Means that Lancelot Armstrong was a member of the Washington County Regiment, N.C. Militia.
