Thanks for the post...His father's name was Joseph, so the 1850 census is a really good lead. The 1870 and forward info is my great-grandfather; although the 1870 lists his birthplace as Alabama, the wife Mary (Ann) and son David are right, along with the M. E. which probably is Margaret E.The 1880 and 1920 is diffidently him.Joseph Berry interchanged the use of his first & middle names.The 1900 Arkansas census show his as Joseph with sons Joel,Lawrence & Wesley (my grandfather)along with daughter Willie Reeves and grandson Earl.Families lived close to each other so possibility? of family connections?
