OK Vital records -
OK began filing original birth and death records in October of 1908. It was not mandatory until 1917 that these records be filed and of course the earlier years are sketchy.

Emily died in 1936 so there should be a deat cert. in OK.
Order her death cert from the County Clerk's Off where she died. Parents names SHOULD be on the death cert; however the cert. may be returned with "parents unknown" as the informant dir not know her parents names. It's a 50/50 bet!
