Seeking information about my gr gr grandfather, Gideon Taylor. The earliest record I have is his listing in the 1850 Tennessee census with his wife Katharine [sic] and a son, William Venable Taylor, my gr grandfather. He was age 57 at that census which make his birth abt 1793. He married Katharine abt 1814. If you have any information, please email me at mikecoley@charter.net.
