Beasley--Monday morning March 11, 1929, at his late residence 922 Cedar street, Mr. Ben Beasley. Survived by his son Andrew Beasley, of Indianapolis, Ind.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Sarah Fleming Matthews; a dear friend, Mrs Laura Corder, all of this city. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, March 13, 1929, at 2 o'clock from Mt. Olivet Baptist church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.B. Ridley, assisted by H.W. Turner and Rev Alonza Cotten. Pallbearers -- Donnie Doyle, Will Polk, Frank Polk, Berley Coleman, Tom Doyle and W.M. Spence. Interment in Greenwood cemetery. Moore & Crowder Undertaking company in charge.
