William Julius Watts b. 1836, TN Confederate Soldier
My Great Grandfather's brother Samuel Johnson Watts (b. ca 1810 NC) wrote inhis Homestead Application in Alabama that his original Application had been filed in Hamilton County, Tenn.I found him in the 1850 Hamilton CO TN Census listed living in household with his widowed mother-in-law Margaret Talley where Samuel was listed as "Samuel WATERS" (obviously an error).
Does anyone recognize this William Julius Watts whose widow filed Confederate Widow's Pension file in Hamilton Co Tn?Do you know WHO William J.'s parents might have been?Did he have siblings? I'm trying to determine if there is any connection with my Watts ancestor.
Sincerely,
Judy ([email protected])
