Hi, I have Allens in my family that were in Blount County, Tennessee.
I was wondering if maybe ther might be a connection...
James Allen b. January 1742, m. Elizabeth Mclaughlin... James d.
December 10,1815 in Blount Co., Tn. They had a son:
Hugh Allen b. October 30,1784, He m. Frances Morton in Blount
county, in 1809..
Hugh & Frances had a son: Samuel Allen b. April 28,1828, m.Mary Thomas
on November 7,1849... Samuel d. February 13,1867 in Indiana...

Let me know if any of this info. fits, I also am looking for more family..
