Rita,

The TAYLORS I am researching moved to Weakley Co prior to 1835. My ancestor, JOHN TAYLOR was born 1810 in NC but was already in Weakley Co by 1834 when he married Dosha MALIN. His mother's name was AGNESS (surname unknown) and she must have been widowed shortly after arriving in Weakley Co. I have no clue where the family lived in NC, or the route they travled to Weakley Co. If you have anything on the Weakley co TAYLORS I would love to hear. The family is well documented once it moved to Weakley co. but prior to that it is one of my brick walls!!! Thanks! Sharon
P.S. I've just discovered my GARNERs lived in Blount Co. in case you share that family line.
