Boone, do you know of a James WHITE, 1785, m. Catherine Hufstutler. Their children were Nancy, James Slown and William Harvey White. James was a friend of President James Knox Polk; he died sometime prior to 1829, when the rest of his family were made wards of the oldest daughter, Nancy WHITE/WEBBER, b. ca. 1805 in N.C., married George E. WEBBER in 1826. The whole group left Maury County, Tennessee for Washington Co., Arkansas
