The above messages is confusing to me, will someone straigten this out for me.
My ancestor is Moses Nichols born 1791 in N.C., he married most likely Elizabeth Melson.
Why is he being called Nicholas Burns?
I do know that Moses had gt grandchildren who married into the Burns family in Grayson Co, Texas.

Been researching this family for many yrs.
Someone please tell me are we talking about the same people here??????
