JOHNSON--Late 1700s-Early 1800s--Sevier
Working on my lineage in central Alabama (Baker/Chilton, Autauga, Bibb, Coosa, Jefferson, Dallas counties) and have crossed an unconfirmed rumor that my Johnson line(s) could have possibly come from the Sevier, TN, area in the early 1800s or late 1700s.
Does anyone know of a migration of Johnsons from that area to central Alabama during that time frame?
