I am searching for information on the Sharp family of Meigs County (per the 1860 and 1870 census). I'm hoping that this is my gggrandmother's family.
Her name was Elizabeth Sharp. I believe she was born September 3, 1858, although it could have been the year following. She died September 4, 1940. She had a farm in Birchwood and was buried in Hamilton Co., TN.
She married a Mr. Williams, whose first name is still under dispute because of the lack of family documentation. I believe his first name may have been James, but I'm not certain yet.
