Rose Family in Marshall County 1825-1850
Posted by: Clement A. Rose Date: June 09, 2000 at 12:20:28

My family came from the Carolinas in the late 1820s and seem to settle in Maury County. They were William and Beady Rose. My Gr.Gr. Grandfather Andrew Jackson Rose was born in SC in 1825. His brother Matthew W. Rose was born in Marshall Co. in 1828 and a sister Elizabeth Jane was also born and married in either Maury or Marshall County. She might have been married to a Robertson 1st and to Stephen Bullington 2nd. All of the children that I mentioned above moved to Johnson County Illinois in the 1840s. The two men are buried there, along with the Mother. I do not know where William died. Any help will be appreciated. Clement Rose E-mail cllyrose@aol.com
