I can't get past Joseph E. Lee born about 1830, I would like to know who his father was.

Richard Lee of the Fowler will did he marry. He left all the slaves to Elizabeth, but time frame is confusing.

The Fowlers did have my Lees living with them in the late 1800 or early 1900's. I am going by memory. So I believe there is a connection but so far time frames are wrong.

Richard is suppose to be Joseph E.Lee father according to my cousin married to Harriett?? but I am not sure. He dies about 1847 because their last child is 3. The other 3 are boys and the gaps in ages makes me think this was not one marriage for Richard. I guess I am just going to keep looking. Thank you. Harriet Lee is listed in the Duncan boarding house or some type of housing facility with her 3 boys Joseph E (19), William H. Lee,(age aprx 16) Henry age 8. and Elizabeth age 3

I believe there are two sets of Lees Harriet and the boys are all born in Va. Elizabeth was born in Tn.

Henry B.Lee I think married a Fowler.

Thanks for your info.
