Are your ancestors Laban & Rebecca Haislip of Marshall County, Tn.? If so, you are "kin" to me. How about Tom & Lucy Haislip, son of Jonathan & Betty Haislip; Any of their descendants in Marshall County? Tom was my great-grandpa Haislip's brother. Any body there connected to Madelle Looney, daughter of Issabelle Haislip & Obreen Welch. I got acquainted with Madelle several years ago & she came to visit me in Obion County. (Bell was my grandmother's sister). Would love to hear from any of you.
Also, Samuel Mathews/Mathis was my great-grandmother's brother. He was in Marshall Co, Dist. # 17 1880. He married Mattie Lehew (varied spelling). They came from Wilson County. Any descendants still there? Hope to hear from you. Betty
