Searching for information on Allen and Willie Briggs who are listed in the household of James and Sarah 'Sallie' Thompson on 1870 Giles Co., TN Census. It is possible they are the sons of Sarah Shannon, as Wade Thompson, son of James and Sarah 'Shannon' Thompson of Marshall Co., TN has listed Allen as a brother in some of his writings. Could Allen and Willie have changed their last name to Thompson? Would appreciate hearing from anyone who might have information regarding these Briggs families.
