Swiney, Hays, Cook, Rogers 1800s

Searching for any information on the families of William A. Swiney and Rebecca Jane (Cook)who appear in the 1850 census in Marshall County with children

Monrow W. Swiney born in Tennessee about 1843 or 44
Nancy E. Swiney born about 1845
William Allen Swiney born May 28, 1848
Minerva Swiney born about February 1850
Emily R. J. Swiney was born in Tennessee November 9, 1850

William and Rebecca were married March 5, 1844 in Marshall County. There is also an earilier record for a marriage in Marshall Co. between a Rebecca Jane Cook and Andrew M. Myers. (If this is the same Rebecca, Monrow W. might explain why things didn't work out with Andrew. He evidentally remarried.)

William Allen Swiney married Frances Minerva Hays, daughter of Solomon Hays and Nancy (Rogers) in Giles County in 1869.

Emily married Minerva's brother, Thomas L. Hays in Marshall County in 1866.

I can't find Solomon and Nancy on the Giles County Census transcription. Were they living in Marshall Co. at the time?

Living next door, with the family of William D. Powell, is William D. Swiney, age 7.

Next door to them is the family of Warren L. Swiney, and living with them are James and Mary Powell, ages 25 and 28.

Two Mystery Hayes families follow on the census page. I don't have a clue how or even if they tie into my Solomon's family, but they are William Hayes and Benjamin Hayes.

Also on the 1850 Census, living very near William A. Swiney with the family of William Oliver, is Allen F. Swiney, his wife Nancy (Oliver) and their baby, William F.

And then there is an old couple -- William and Nancy SWANEY of NC. Since my William A.'s father was from NC, William and Nancy are prime candidates for parents, but I have nothing but speculation at this point.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
