Jerry, Thank you so much for replying. The William McAdams family you stated are indeed of my family, but they are an Uncle and Aunt of the William McAdams I am looking for. William Sr. is a brother of my ggg-grandfather, HUGH McADAMS, and William, Hugh's SON is also listed in the 1850 census with wife JANE and children, JAMES M. and MATILDA.It is a real possibility that the John W. King who was listed living with them was related to the King family living next door to William Sr.As I have not been able to find my JANE'S maiden name, I was hopeing to connect her to the John W. King living in thier home. Seems like there were several John W. Kings in the area at that time and boy is this getting confusing! Maybe you can find the one I'm looking for RELATED to the ones you have?? Thanks, Bobbie
