To Bill Danner,

Bill, Sorry to have taken so long to respond. James S. McGill and his wife Mary C. Jacobs McGill are both buried at Roberson Cemetery in Loudon County, Tn. The Jacobs family has been very well researched by quite a number of people. The parents, siblings, or any ancestors of James McGill ( aka James H. Bean ) have yet to be found in any records. The death certificate for James states that his parents are Frank McGill and Sarah Bean. These two people do not appear in anywhere in the census records.
No marriage record for a Frank McGill and Sarah Bean has been found and no record for a Sarah McGill to a Bean has been found. Also no record for a James H. Bean on the census records has been seen. The only indication as to where James was born is the birth record for his second daughter that states he was born in Roane County, Tn.
I apologize for the confusion in my posts on the message board and for the late response.

Pete Stair
