WHO IS Minnie BAKER (1877) m: Porter EDMONDS (1863-1907)?

Porter EDMONDS(son of John P. EEDMONDSand Mary Ann RENEAU, born May 1873) and Minnie BAKER (born Aug 1877 per 1900 census) were married April 20, 1898.

They appear on the 1900 census (indexed as Pate Edmonds) with son Arthur C. Edmonds born Sept 1898.

According to LDS, Porter died 21 May 1907 and probably Arthur Charles/Charles Arthur died 04 DEC 1909.

There are only three Baker females born around 1877 (Caroline, Lula and Sarah) and of course Minnie would be a nick name. I have no idea who she is or where she came from. I cannot find Minnie Baker again after the 1900.

BUT, here's a lead.

Porter and Charles A. were "baptised" into LDS (date unknown) and were sponsored by Salome? SOLLEY at the same time she and her husband sponsored baptisms of dead people from her family and his family.

Selona/Selona BUTLER m1:Williams (from Alabama) m2:John Solley. They are in Salt Lake City in 1910 and Jacksonville, FL in 1920 but I can't find my Tennessee connection to them that I need except her grandson's mother was from Tennessee. He's living with them in 1910 and 20. It would be a stretch, but maybe Minnie Baker Edmonds met and/or married their son, had a kid and then died and SELONA'S grandson, John O. Williams, is living with his grandparents for the next 20 years.

I think his father was James O. Williams born Sept 1886 which is 9 years younger than Minnie, but who knows?

I can never find Minnie or John O. Williams, <1908> again. He's UT AL TN.

Thanks for any help.
