I would appreciate any information on Edwards living in Jefferson County Tn late 1790's-early 1800's..especially those who moved to Madison/Jackson Counties of Alabama by 1807. Henry Edwards born 1750-60 NC was 70-80 on 1830 Madison Co, Al census. Daughter Hananh married Wm Baker in 1801 Jefferson Co, Tn..to Al by 1807. Any Edwards information appreciated! Did they own land? One Henry Edwards in listed on early tax lists..He was married to a Mary "Polly" Wilson, daughter of a Robert Wilson b ca 1725 NC. Robert is said to have been a headman or some type of Cherokee Chief. Any Wilson/Edwards Cherokee in Jefferson County, Please Post!!
