My family tree takes me back to James C McClanahan born 1825 in Jefferson, TN and married 1853 in Randolph County, MO. I believe his parents were William M McClanahan and Sarah Cox, who were married in 1804 in Jefferson, TN. James C had sisters named Isabella and Elizabeth. He had brothers William C, and Enoch C.
I would like to verify this and learn when James C left TN. I would also very much appreciate additional information about James, his parents and his family.
