Looking for any records related to Turner Sharp, who was in North Carolina in 1800 census and in Jefferson County in 1830 and 1840. He appears to have died in Jan 1850 in McMinn County.
Particularly interested in references to him between 1800 and 1830 which might indicate when he moved from NC to Jefferson County, the census records for 1810 and 1820 for Jeffreson County having been lost.
Such references might appear in court records, deeds (buyer, seller, witness or neighbor), or tax lists.
