I believe Fred is correct. The Timothy Moody who married Mary King is my great-grandfather Isaac Newton Jr's brother, who apparently also died in the early 1860s; however, he is not the Timothy Moody who was killed at Holly Springs, MS (according to the best info I can find). That Timothy was his first cousin, son of Elijah.

Because I have Henry County, TN, Kings in both my mother's and my father's families, I have done some research on them without managing to sort them very well. One branch of the Henry County King family has ties to a Witty family to which Fredric believes the mother of Isaac Newton, Sr., John, and Elijah possibly belonged. I say 'Fredric believes.' He is probably correct, but I have not done enough research on her to take much credit for listing her as such.
