John, I am seeking a Caroline ? who married a ? Mathews. That is my dilemma. She was born about 1835. In 1880 she was in St. Landry Parish Louisiana with 3 of her children, supposedly a widow, as no husband was listed. She was listed as from Tennessee. Her children born in Louisiana. She was 45 at the time of the census and her oldest child was 19 yrs old. If you can find a Caroline who married a Mathews/Mathis/Mathes/Matthews I'd appreciate it so much. Thank you, John.
