First, so I don't forget, you have my email address correct except for one letter -- where you have an "i" it should be a "t" as in Tom -- nokomts.
Hugh Bradshaw ROBINSON had children with both wives. Caroline DUCKWORTH died just a few years after they were married and they had only two children: Margery Almeda & William Wilkins. (I have more info on William Wilkins ROBINSON if you need it.)
Margery Almeda was born in 1831, Madison Co, TN; died 30 May 1886 in Dumas, Tippah Co, MS; married Azel Reed McCORD, son of Azel McCORD & Jane "Jennie" LARKIN. Azel & Margery had five children: William A., b. ca.1849; Hugh B., b. 29 Aug 1850; Robert A., b. ca 1853-55; Radford L., b. ca. 1858; and Sarah Caroline "Kitty," for whom I have some very conflicting bits of information, both which cannot be correct.
Of the children of Azel & Margery, I have info on the spouse of only one -- Hugh B. McCORD who was b. 29 Aug 1850; d. 5 Jan 1888 in Tippah Co, MS (Tippah Co. Death Notices say he died in Feb, rather than January -- I'm not sure which is correct). Hugh B. McCORD married Sallie DANIEL, dau. of the Honorable William T. DANIEL & Nancy A. UNKNOWN. Sallie was married first to Hugh B. McCORD & second to John B. TIGRET, son of Captain David Porter TIGRET (my great, great grandfather) .
Sallie DANIEL had five children with Hugh McCORD (Ella who d. at age 2; Willie Reed (1876-1923, lived in Ferris, TX); Robert R.(1879-1924; grocer, unmarried at time of death); Nancy L. "Nannie" (1882-1952) married Ira Leander CLAYTON; and Lula Hugh McCORD (1886- single in 1915 when mentioned in her mother's obit).
Sallie DANIEL had two children with John B. TIGRET (Daniel "Dan" who m. Lena ORR and lived & died in Ferris, TX and W.O. who in 1960 was living in Houston, Harris Co, TX and "probably had a family"). Sallie DANIEL had a sister Lucy DANIEL who married George W. SHACKLEFORD, son of J.J. SHACKLEFORD & his 1st wife, Rhonda Adeline JONES who died only four years after their marriage. (J.J. was actually John Joseph Jefferson SHACKLEFORD. He had 8 children with his 2nd wife, Sarah "Sallie" LONG.) One of J.J.'s daughters, Catherine J. Caldonia "Donia" married David Thomas TIGRETT, another son of my great, great grandfather, David Porter TIGRET (they spelled the surname differently). I have the other SHACKLEFORD kids' names if you need them.
Hugh Bradshaw ROBINSON had seven children with his 2nd wife, Sarah Matilda TIGERT. (Yes, a third spelling of the TIGERT surname, and there are still others.)

Caroline Elizabeth b. 1840, TN
Mary Jane b. 1841, MS & d. ca. 1876
Susan Matilda b. 1843, MS
Thomas J.S. " Tom" b. 1844, MS; d. in Civil War in VA
[Thomas' death was mentioned in his half-brother William Wilkins ROBINSON's obit in the Southern Sentinel.]
Martha A. b. 1848, MS
Nancy Almira b. 1849, MS
Lucy b. ca. 1851
I have no spouses' or children's names for the children of Hugh & Sarah.
Samuel B. TIGERT & his wife (Annie?) Jane BELL were my 3rd great grandparents. Sarah Matilda was one of their daughters. Everybody seems to have Samuel's wife's name as Annie Jane but I don't know where the "Annie" part came from. I feel certain than she was NOT a sister of the politician John BELL of TN who ran for president in 1860, as is mentioned in a Southern Sentinel article. I've seen no evidence for that and she does not appear in lists of the children of John BELL's parents. She may be somehow related to him, but not as a sister, in my opinion.
Samuel & Jane TIGERT had eleven children, whose names I have if you need them. Also have birth & death dates, spouses & children for most of them.
If you have any questions I didn't answer here, let me know. I have NOT verified all the info I have on these families but I feel most of it is correct.
