Dear Michael: Thanks for the information.

I too have Joel Wolverton as the father of Mary Wolverton.
Joel's wife is listed as Elizabeth (nee), i.e., I do not show a maiden name for Elizabeth. He was born in Trenton, N.J., and died in Amwell Township, N.J. I show 9 children
for them: (only names, no dates)

Mary, Charles, John, Jane, Amy, Joel, Job, Gabriel, and
Andrew Wolvertons. John, Joel and Gabriel have birth place
at Amwell Township, Hunterdon Co, N.J., and all many have been born there.

I show Amy was m. to Severns. I show Joel m. to unknown
and w/son, Joel Wolverton III.

I have a lot of Dorcas Alexanders, a Dorcase, a couple of
Darcus', but none seem to fit yours. Dorcase was born 1816
and I have nothing for her. Her parents were Joel Alexander and unknown wife; 9 children. Joel was the son of Hezekiah & Mary (Sample) Alexander. Hezekiah signed the
Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence (MDI) May 20, 1775.
A well-known Alexander indeed.

At first, I thought "Joel" as descendant's names might be
impt, but, Joel here was a Wolverton and likely source of
the Joel descendants names.

Let me know if you tie anything together and get more info.

Thanks a bunch. Mac Alexander.
