I am from a direct line of Blackwoods that came to the U.S. from Ireland back in the 1760s. Most settled around the King's Mtn., NC area. One of the 3rd(?) generation of siblings moved from NC to Wayne County, TN. From there they married into the Sinclair, Ferguson, Oates, Falls & Bell families. Some of which further moved west into Arkansas, Texas & Arizona.

One distant relation of mine that I remember from my childhood was a Mr. Neil H. Bell of Russellville, Ark.
I believe his mother was Margaret Susan Sinclair, b. March 10, 1850 & married Calvin S. Bell (birthdate unknown)

This may well be part of your line since I still have living relatives in Wayne & hardin County, TN as well as Stugartt, Ark. (and all of those are only Blackwoods!)
