Interested in the early Spencer family of Hardin Co. Charles Spencer, b. July 28, 1791, Burke Co., NC, moved to Hardin Co. and lived there until his death in 1856. He married Sarah Reeves and had several children including Thomas Marion Spencer, b. ca. 1836. Thomas is said to have married Victoria Steven but no marriage record to this date has been found. One of Thomas' children was Samuel P. Spencer who married the second time, Rhoda Ann (Ainley) Davis. Some of Samuel's children moved to Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN. I am interested in any of the family surnames and will share information.
