I am searching for information about my great great grandmother Ellen Catherine, wife of Daniel Newton Smith (1831-1878). She was born in 1835, probably in Tennessee or possibly in Georgia, and moved to Hood County, Texas, before her husband's death. She died in 1904 and is buried in Texas. Not sure whether her maiden name was Dean or Morris/Morrison, or perhaps she was married more than once. The date of her marriage to Smith was about 1855 in Tennessee. I would like to hear from anyone who might be related or have more information about her children:
