This may not be related to your question. But, there was once a Church called the Baptist Church of Cobbs Chapel in Pumpkin Valley in Hawkins District 19. I don't know if it there any more or not. Joel Cobb sold the land it was located on to his grandson Pleasant G. Murrell in the 1850s. Pleasant Murrell sold Cobb's Chapel to the trustees of the Chapel and the School Directors of the 19th Civil District for $1 in September 1884. I wonder if they renamed the Church after him?
