Winstead Collins

Does anyone know how Winstead Collins got his name? He was the son of Andy Collins and Delilah Unknown. I believe this was Andy's second marriage and the couple married about 1852. Winstead Collins was born about 1853. I am always curious about why people married in Hawkins and Hancock counties. My observations is that the couples were often second and third cousins. Ritie, daughter of Winstead Collins' brother Lediford, married Pete Lawson, who was the nephew of John and Mary Lawson Winstead of Hawkins County. So, this seems to be too much of a coincidence to ignore--i.e., Winstead in both families.
