Doswell Rogers (surname Doswell from old VA family) b. 1736 is said to have these 4 plus more sons.

1. Adenstone lived in Wythe Co. VA and moved to Lee Co. VA with his father, Doswell ca 1793. Adenstone later took
moved his family from VA to KY to IN where he died.

2. George is believed to have been the one found in Madison Co. TN. He later moved to Gasconade Co. MO where another Doswell Rogers is located.

3. Joseph died young in Lee Co. VA ca 1815. He had lived for a short time in Bledsoe Co. TN along with Elisha Rogers his proposed brother.

4. William Rogers lived in Mont. Co. VA, Lee Co., VA, Hawkins Co. TN and lastly in White Co. TN where he is dead and buried. Several of his sons moved to the Sequatchie Valley.

Doswell never lived in TN. His grandsons Rev. Dauswell Rogers, son of William, Sr., and Dauswell Rogers, son of Elisha, both lived in the Sequatchie Valley and have land records.
