Need help. Was David Tate of Grainger co.Tn the father of Nancy Tate who married Moses Brooks in 1813 Wilson co.TN. Census show she was born in NC which fits in as that area was part of NC. David Tate signed her marriage bond. He died in Grainger co. TN in 1838 He was buried in Chamberlain? I have seen where John Tate was her father if so did she have a brother David?
