In DeKalb County, there were two post offices where the Hail families lived. The names of the head of households were: C.W.L., born 1832; Daniel, born 1826; James, born 1834; John, born 1795: Lemuel, born 1832. Please contact me if you know anything about these families. I am trying to find out who the parents were of Rueben Hail. Reuben Hail was born 1802 in Tennessee. He was listed in the 1830 census of Smith County. The part of Smith County that he lived in was later made part of DeKalb County. Reuben may have been related to some of these families call Hail. If you know anything about these people, contact me. Thanks brian in springfield missouri
