looking for some info on samantha jane bennett who married george w. summers in 1873 .. samantha jane was born in 1859 and george w. was born round 1855 .. samanth jane was the daughter of thomas jefferson bennett .. i am trying to figure for sure when she died .. in the 1900 census george w. is listed as a widowed .. and in the death records he is listed dying at the age of 84 in 1939 and thomas jefferson bennett dies in 1912 and samantha jane receives his pension when he dies .. (there is proof ) and she is married to perry evans .. i have some dates on some marriages .. a jane benett married a james jones in 1888 and a jane jones is listed marrying a w p evans .. i cant find samantha in the census in dekalb county after 1880 she is still with george in 1880 but thomas jefferson is in jackson county in 1880 .. with his first wife martha .. and some of his other kids .. but in 1920 there is a jane and perry evans listed jane is 50 and perry is 54 .. the ages arent right i dont think .. and there is a grave in the brassell cem. with the summers graves marked ? bennett evins may 1935 age 60 and thomas jefferson bennett is buried there too .. so if anyone has any ideas let me know janine goodson
