I noticed your post for a family DNA project. I am descended from the Lindsey’s, but have a different surname: Huskey. A cousin, who descends from the same ancestor has DNA that does not match ours or the Huskey DNA. We are searching through local DNA projects to determine the correct family line to go back to…

Do you have public results of your family DNA? If not, could I send you my cousin’s results to see if they match? I had to be the bearer of bad news, telling them that they weren’t really Huskey’s. Now, I am working to try to find the real male ancestor for this cousin. Any help is greatly appreciated.
