The Death Certificate has some wrong information. I was able to locate Bell in census records with her parents - Calvin and Frances WHITE, not REED, as the certificate said. The certificate also says Bell's mother was Elizabeth White whereas census records say her mother was named Frances. Plus I made a typo when I said her name was Martha White (must have been thinking of the flour!). Anyway, Bell's parents were apparently Calvin and Frances White and, by 1920 Bell was married to Henry Reed. Is anyone familiar with this family?
