John McKee, McKee's Bridge ca 1822

Goodspeeds on Carroll County say: First bridge in Carroll County was MCKEES BRIDGE on the Big Sandy ca 1822. Is there a local story about why it is named McKee?

Also, John McKee was 1st constable in the organization of the county 11 March 1822. Does anyone have the genealogy of this John McKee? Was the bridge named for him?
