Where are Duck River & Sinking Creek located in county?

I am looking for the exact (or even general) location in Bedford Co. for the land of my ancestor Isaac Splawn. The deeds from the county I have for him state that 135 acres of his land was located on Duck River and he had a grant from the state of Tennessee for 55 acres on Sinking Creek and was an assignee of John Carlisle. Part of the land he sold to John Thompson in 1834 was from an original grant to Edward Wade #3380. He bought and sold land in Bedford Co. between 1826 and 1834 and is found on the 1820 and 1830 Census in Bedford Co. He later moved to Daviess Co., Mo. I am not familiar with this area or county in Tennessee. Any help would be appreciated.
