DIED:

Hugh Jones, Esq., died at his home in the 11th district last Thursday. Born in N.C., but when young man came to Franklin County, Tennessee and lived for many years. He then came to Shelbyville and lived in the 11th district, aged nearly 82 years. Buried in Willow Mount. He was the father-in-law of George W. Fuqua, Esq.
