A dear kind soul (J) sent me the picture from the Shelbyville Times-Gazette, 28 APR 1965:

The caption reads:
Wood School, Sept. 4, 1902, is written on the slate held by James H. Harrison (left) and Elmo Bearden (dec.) in the school group posed for the picture. Harrison submitted the picture and has named the group by rows as follows. From left in second row, Laura (Woodward) Adams, Nellie (Moore) Gilland, Julia (Gambill) Finney (dec.), Susie (Pickle) Word, Claria (Pickle) Adams, (dec.), Callie (Moore) Anderson, Grover Gambill, Howard Neely, Fred Woodward, Kinnie Harrison, (dec.); Lucy (Pickle) Woodward, and Frank Harrison, (dec.); third row, Miss Anna Harris, teacher, (dec.); Minnie (Cortner) Beard, (dec.); Dena (Dillard) Anderson, Jennie (Anderson) Lentz, Myrtle (Harrison) Waddie, Mable (Adams) Shaw, Mamie (Woodward) Pickle, (dec.); Viola (Smith) Shearin, (dec.); Edna (Stallings) Burtrand, Bonnie (Woodward) Adams, Loula (Freeman) Moore, Kittie (Prince) Delk, Jessie Lee (Hazlett) Endsley, (dec.); fourth row, Vaughn Woodward, (dec.); Ross Neely, Joe Pickle, (dec.); Sam Neely, Roy Anderson, Marvin Jones, Fred Prince, Dee Pickle, Clarence Adams, (dec.); Sam Pickle, Myrtle Cortner (dec.); Paul Jones, Jim Hazlett, (dec.); and George Harrison. James Harrison, owner of the picture, said this was his first school and that the late Frank Harrison (standing at the far right on second row) was his brother and not old enough to go to school but was there for the picture.

It is here:

Cheers, -gb-
