Reuben Curry b.1811 VA >TN > KY 1900

I'm trying to identify the family of my lineal ancestor Reuben Curry, born VA in January 1811. Reuben is first enumerated on the 1830 Bedford County TN Census. In 1850 (p127) he is still enumerated in Bedford County TN, 5th Civil District, as follows:

Reuben 39 VA farmer
Frances 37 NC [UNK maiden name]
Sarah J. 10 TN
Susan 7 TN
Mary F. 5 TN
James H. 3 TN

Reuben is next enumerated on page 552 of the 1870 Caldwell County KY, Tennessee Precinct, as follows:

Reuben 59 VA farmer
F.T.S. (female - partially illegible) 57 NC

Evidently Frances died, for in about 1878 Reuben married a widow named America Mitchell and together they are enumerated on page 105B of the 1900 Caldwell County Census (Bucksnort Precinct) as follows:

Reuben b. VA Jan 1811 farmer [both parents born VA]
America b. IN Mar 1824 [father b. KY; mother b. GA]

As indicated by the following obituary American died in 1901:

[Cadiz Record Jan 1901] AMERICA CURRY ~ One of Caldwell's Oldest And Most Beloved Women Died Last Friday. The death of Mrs America Curry removed one of Caldwell's oldest and most beloved women. Her death was due to the infirmities of old age. She was the wife of "Uncle" Reuben Curry, one of the oldest citizens of Caldwell county. Her death is greatly regretted by all of her acquaintances, especially those who lived near her and knew her best. She was a Christian lady and member of the Christian church at Cross Roads. Her funeral and burial took place at Mt. Hebron Saturday. She was the widow Mitchell at the time of her marriage to Mr Curry twenty-three years ago. Two children are left to mourn her death besides her aged husband, who is now in his ninety-fourth year. The children are, Edward Mitchell and Mrs Riz Claxton, of Denver, Col.

I would appreciate any information or leads on Reuben Curry (and his first wife Frances) either in VA, TN or KY. In particular I would like to know when he died so that I might obtain a copy of his probate information or obituary so that I might find out something about him.

One possible clue to his family might be the enumeration of a Henry Curry on page 26 of the 1850 McNairy County Census. Henry was also born in VA and has a son named Reuben. In 1850, Henry's family is enumerated as follows:

Henry Curry 61 VA farmer
Susan 48 VA
Reuben 18 TN
Brice 16 TN [male]
Sarah 14 TN
Mary 13 TN
James 12 TN
Susan 10 TN
William 6 TN
Allen 4 TN

Thanks for any comments.
