Elisha BRYANT and John WHITE - 1820
Posted by: P. Pepple Date: July 18, 2001 at 19:36:52

Does anyone have info on Elisha Bryant and John White who lived next to each other in the 1820 census? I wondered if they could be the same two who appear near each other in Hardin Co TN in 1830 and 1840. When Elisha Bryant died in 40's, John White was his adm. and he had widow Peggy ( Margaret ? ) John White died ca 1845 and left widow, Margaret S. or L. WHITE. The surnames in Hardin Co match many of those in Bedford Co. TN. Am I barking up the wrong tree? -- {no pun intended:) }
