My Pearson family begins with Richard or could be Richmond Pearson born 1821. He married Amanda Brown about 1862. Amanda was born in 1844.

Children of Richard Pearson and Amanda Brown:
i.       John Erastus Pearson Sr., born May 24, 1863 in Bedford Co. Tennessee; died November 04, 1932 in Texas. He married Margaret “Maggie” Ann Brown on May 30, 1885 in Bedford County, TN.

ii.       Bettie Pearson, born February 14, 1868 in TN. Died between 1903 – 1910. She married A J Ogle about 1890.

iii.       Mary Alice Pearson, born August 03, 1869 in TN. She married Henry Butler on November 20 1889 in Bedford County, TN.

iv.       Callie/Poler Pearson, born July 27, 1870 in TN. She married Jim Thompson February 10, 1893 in Hunt County, TX.

v.       Kitty Pearson, born February 12, 1872 in TN. She married L B Tucker January 02, 1894 in Hunt County, TX.

vi.       Sarah "Jennie" Pearson, born January 04, 1873 in Bedford County, TN; died February 04, 1949 in Celeste, Hunt County, TX. She married Frances Henderson Aven February 14, 1895 in Hunt County, Texas

vii.       Octie Pearson, born July 03, 1876 in TN; died July 05, 1969 in Hopkins County, Texas. She married (1) Oscar McWilliams July 04, 1897 and (2) Arthur Malcolm Freeman.

viii.       Sally Pearson, born May 04, 1878 in TN. She married J T Holland February 14, 1895 in Hunt County, TX.

ix.       Musie Francis Pearson, born January 11, 1885 in TN.

This family packed up and moved from Tennessee on a wagon train about 1892 to Hunt County, TX.
