Hi Artie, Just stumbled across your message in my search for information on the early life of Joseph Ladd Majors. He was born in Bedford Co. May 26, 1806, one of the children of Robert H. and Hulda Ladd. He came to California on the Santa Fe Trail with Isaac Graham and others in 1834, but we know nothing of his family and early life. We are in the process of writing a book on his life for his many descendants and would love any information and or pictures of his life in Tennessee. Thanks, Anne-Marie
