War of 1812, Camp Anderson

Henry C. Hastings III served in the War of 1812 in Capt. Henry M. Nowlin's Co. of Infantry, 1st Regiment of the West Tennessee Militia. He served from June 20, 1814 to January 27, 1815 where he rose to the rank of Corporal. At his enlistment he was stationed at Camp Alexander then later until his discharge at Fayetteville, the county seat of Lincoln Co, TN.

Can any War of 1812 buff tell me if Camp Anderson was in Lincoln Co. and if so, where it was? Could it possibly have been north of the Elk Ridge in Bedford Co?
