I am a descendant of Knight Dalby who came to Bedford Co. from Granville Co N C in about 1810. His wife is a descendant of Capt. Hugh Bullock who was in Jamestown VA in 1623 and Hugh Bullock had a dau. ____ m Geo Norvelle and I believe their descendants came to Granville Co NC; then to Bedford Co. Tn. and to Bowie Co., Tx at the time the Dalby's did.
Do not know anything other than what I have written about these Norvilles but thought it might help you. There is a William Norville witnessing with Thomas S. Peacock for a deed between William G. Wood/Amos McAdams in 1831 in Bedford Co..
