Catalogue Ref. DD\GC

FILE - FARELL AND JONES FAMILIES - ref. DD\GC/72 - date: 1755-1789
[from Scope and Content] Survey, sketch plan, corresp. from and depositions taken in America relating to a small estate at Frampton Cotterell (For deeds, see DD/GC/47 above.) (Glos.), an interest in which had been left to Sarah Rogers of Newcastle in Virginia (formerly of Bristol), 1763-89; copy will of John Tyler of Bristol, wine hooper [uncle of S.R.], 1741. There are references in the depositions to the death of Joseph Rogers in the U.S. Army, 1777

I am not researching the Rogers family but found this information on the A2A English Archives site and thought it might be of interest.
